Two talented song-and-dance men team up after the war to become one of the hottest acts in show business. In time they befriend and become romantically involved with the beautiful Haynes sisters who comprise a sister act. They put on a Christmas show performance in rural Vermont where they run into Gen. Waverly, the boys' commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties where his quaint country inn is failing.
